As a way to highlight success, spotlight school spirit and inspire positivity, this year the staff at Baird Middle School created their own school wide theme-- good, better, Baird.  Mrs. Stacy Monette, BMS Principal, explained that she hopes this initiative will have a positive impact at helping to build and strengthen BMS pride, morale, and comradeship and overflow to spreading positivity at home and in the community.

good, better, Baird will be weaved into classroom activities and projects throughout the school year as a reminder to always strive to do your best, to be kind to others and to be proud of who you are. Additionally Monette explained, “We have also incorporated the hashtag #goodbetterBaird for students and staff to use throughout the year when posting on social media all of the amazing things happening here at Baird.”

To kick off the school wide theme each staff member was given a t-shirt displaying the good, better Baird logo that was designed by Mr. Robert Nummy, BMS Art teacher, and graciously paid for by The Gomes Insurance Agency of Ludlow. The entire staff wore their t-shirts proudly for the October class meetings (see photo below) which recognized BMS Students of Character.
