This month at Baird Middle School the word of character is compassion.  Mrs. Stacy Monette, BMS Principal, stated that to highlight this important  theme a kindness wreath has been hung in the lobby area.

Monette explained that following this month’s class meetings teachers were given pieces of ribbon to add to the wreath when a staff member witnesses a random act of kindness.  Examples of random acts of kindness are posted in the lobby area of the school (see presentation below).

The kindness wreath not only serves as a reminder to all students and staff the importance of being kind to one another, but also is a visual reminder that there are many kind acts happening at Baird, on a daily basis.
